Rock N' Roll & The Immortal Soul: A Vampire Musical, is the stage version of a screenplay that was requested to be read by The Sundance Film Institute. A comedy with a music makeover, the reading of the script was performed by local actors with original songs written and performed by local musicians (with some fun covers!).
Drake, a vampire who’s been living in the run-down lighthouse across from Portland Headlight, decides to pack up all his Sinatra albums and head to New York City to follow his dream of becoming a successful singer and garner a record deal. Although he’s substituted his thirst for blood with vitamins, and Sinatra with rock n’ roll, he soon realizes his passion for music and his bloodlust can’t co-exist and he finds himself with others of his kind--in vampire rehab!
